As refer to our text book written by Timothy J. O'Leary, the system unit is part of a microcomputer that contains the Central Processing Unit (CPU). Also known as the system cabinet or chassis, it is the container that houses most of the electronic components that make up the computer system.
The system unit can be divided into two which are :
1. Categories e.g. desktop, media center, notebook, netbook, tablet pc and handheld
2. Components e.g. system board, microprocessor and memory.
